Melbourne climate solutions on show in Singapore!
As our close bilateral relationship strengthens, Melbourne's innovative climate solutions eye Singapore as next big opportunity.
Melbourne's innovative climate solutions were shining bright as part of the Singapore Clean Enviro Summit in June.
Supported by Austrade, Global Vic and Investment NSW, a number of Australian companies were in Singapore to promote the opportunities around the Green Economy Agreement and the Go Green Co-Innovation Program. Included in the trade delegation were:
- Anvarta - A semi-automated tool assessing skill and capability gaps of organisations, work teams and individuals to move towards a circular economy, informing capability development needs.
- Brightspace - At Brightspace, we're driven by the conviction that every building, regardless of its age, has untapped potential to be a beacon of efficiency and a haven of health.
- C-Loop - Renewable energy powered by nature. Our closed loop model turns organic waste into clean, renewable baseload energy and high-protein microalgae.
- Earth Systems - Earth Systems is a leading multi-disciplinary environmental technology and science solution provider, with experience working internationally for over 30 years.
- Kite Magnetics - Kite Magnetics utilizes Aeroperm™, a patented nanocrystalline magnetic material, to build high-performance, energy-efficient electric motors and generators.
- Phantm - Phantm's three-step A-R-T process is designed to help companies understand and reduce their environmental impact.
- Planet Protector Group - PP manufactures a disruptive sustainable insulated packaging solution made from 100% sheep’s wool called WOOLPACK.
- Xefco - Xefco’s technology called Ausora® provides a water-free process for dyeing and finishing for the textiles industry.
- IQ Energy - An innovative envirotech company providing unique advanced thermal treatment solutions for local communities and businesses turning waste into energy.
The companies pitched and exhibited at the summit and Plug and Play networking events.
The Go Green Co-Innovation Program is jointly funded by Singapore and Australian Government and offers grants up to $500,000 AUD to Australian companies partnering with Singapore companies to fund research and development, commercialisation and or expansion.
